The first songs of the dawn chorus can be heard, leaf buds are starting to show on the trees and carpets of snowdrops quietly announce new life in the garden. At Deene Park swathes of these delicate flowers, of all varieties, begin to emerge having shaken off the winter blues. The spectacular display includes ‘Pusey Green Tip’ and ‘Blewbury Tart’; two among a cast of thousands and both in abundance in the grounds and gardens. Keeping them company are a variety of other early flowering plants and shrubs such as hellebores and crocus. Step into our garden this February and enjoy these delicate beauties for yourself.
You are advised to wear suitable footwear when walking around the gardens, especially in wet conditions.
