Autumn is now well and truly upon us and, as we change our walking routes with the seasons, this week we have been thinking about opportunities to explore our wonderful county without carrying lots of mud around on your footwear.

Walk 96 is a great 3.5 mile stroll, taking roughly one hour, and includes the stunning hamlet of Brockhall, the abandoned village of Muscott, the canal and a chance for a tea room stop. All of that in one hour.
Did you know that in World War II Brockhall Hall was used by the American Office of Strategic Studies, an early predecessor of the CIA?
