Corby Borough Council has sensitively refurbished the 17th Century Grade II listed building in what is known locally as Corby's Old Village and for it to become a single identifiable location for understanding and sharing heritage resources in the community. The Heritage Centre has a small permanent display about Corby and its earliest origins. In addition the centre has temporary exhibition space which exhibits between 3 and 4 displays per year with changing themes.
