At SASC we engage in Field Target (FT) shooting, where assorted targets are placed at varying distances and heights. We shoot sitting, kneeling and standing. The guns used are 0.177” calibre air rifles. These are best for target shooting.
There is a wide variety of airgun types, break-barrel, under-lever and pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) and a wide span of prices, from hundreds to thousands of pounds.
We welcome visitors to come along on Sunday mornings on our less formal “Club Shoot” days to see what we do, and some of the equipment we use.
