Sywell Aviation Museum is based in the lovely Art Deco surroundings of Sywell Aerodrome, which is located on the edge of Sywell village in Northamptonshire, and boats one of the best General Aviation Airfields in the UK! We are Northamptonshire's premier aviation museum....awarded Museum of the Year & Best Exhibition in the Renaissance Heritage Awards 2007, Highly Commended in the Northants Heritage Awards 2011 and 2012 for Best Special Project, and more! Sywell Aviation Museum is a voluntary, non profit organisation that aims to preserve the history of the Aerodrome, and Northamptonshire’s rich aviation heritage from the early days of aviation, to WWII and beyond. The museum is packed full of artefacts, photographs, aero engines, models, uniforms, and weapons, so allow yourself a few hours for your visit.
